What is it with all the blogging?

In today’s modern networking life, we seem to have lost the ability to talk face to face. Instead of conversing, we share, like, push, and comment on everything we could find on the internet.
On the one hand, this seemingly life-compensating activity, blogging—sharing your deepest private thoughts and sometimes insignificant trivialities with the world—appears to replace real-life interaction. And on the other hand? People are highly sensitive about surveillance? And this sensitivity implies a sense of hypocrisy. What should one say about the content of food-blogs, fashion-blogs, information-blogs. And subjects such as gender, feminism, politics, et cetera are sometimes treated superficially but the authors seem to consider themselves as high authority. Those people who cannot drop these ‘modern’ topics are quite annoying in my opinion.
So now I am using this blog to send my very adequate-yet-unworthy thoughts into the surreal world.
